Open domain name for deleted site

    Hi, I would really like to have a WordPress domain that is said to be unavailable.
    I went on the site and found that it has been deleted by the author… Is there any way that the domain may be opened up again, or directly transferred to my account?

    I have read about similar issues to this, but most are a case of new users wanting an abandoned blog address, not one that has already been deleted by the owner.

    Any help, please?

    Hi –

    The only way you could do this would be for the original owner to transfer it to you. Since they’ve already deleted the site it’s not going to be possible.
