  Although I paid to update my wordpress URL to my previously owned .com URL, my Open ID is still displaying as my old wordpress.com URL with old blog name. I tried going under “My Blogs” when I got through each step, I received the message that my .com name was already in use. Lol…I know its in use – it’s me. Please help.

  Hi there,

  Your OpenID is always your site’s underlying free *.wordpress.com address (not the custom domain name you use on your site). You can confirm your OpenID in your site’s WP Admin dashboard under Settings > OpenID.
