Open ID not working

  I tried to send a comment to makingamark.blogspot.ie via their comment box( which I often do,) but I could not as WordPress was sending me a message You do not own that identity My open ID usually comes in automatically.

  Hi Bernadette,

  The blogspot site you mentioned is in your OpenID trusted site list, and your site is public, and those are the most common causes of OpenID errors.

  So let’s try these steps first:

  1. Log out of WordPress.com and Blogspot /Blogger
  2. Clear cache and cookies from your browser (see this for help: http://support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/).
  3. Log back into WordPress.com
  4. Try authenticating the OpenID again at makingamark.blogspot.ie

  If you get another error, please make a screenshot of it and upload the screenshot to your media library. Then let me know about it here. :)

  Thanks Alex..Ive done all that and, when I went to send my comment again to blogspot I discovered that it is already there . Ive no way of knowing whether my clearing the cache somehow released it as it is not timed, and cant send it again without annoying the blogger! So , for the moment Ill assume it is now ok , if it happens again I`ll send a screen grab

  I suppose any number of things could’ve happened now that we know the comment made it through. But so long as it did get through that’s the most important thing, right? :)

  Yes, please send me that screenshot if it does happen again and we can look at it another time.
