Open ID problem
-
Now that I have registered my own domain on WordPress, I’m having a little problem while commenting on other blogs-not WP-by using Open ID feature. When I try to use it, it tells me that it’s an invalid domain, I try to put my new URL and still I keep getting the message. Even when I try commenting using the regular “Name, URL”, when clicking upon my comment, it won’t direct you to my blog.
Thank you in advance guys.

I had this problem just now commenting over at blogger so not sure if it’s a WordPress Open ID prob or down to blogger.

The same happens with me when I try to comment on Blogger! That’s what I’m trying to find out.

I think you need to use your [yourblogname].wordpress.com address as your OpenID, not your domain name.

No, I’ve been using raincoaster.com, and it works for me. You can’t add the http part though or it becomes confused.

Now when using the OpenID feature, I fill in “jasims.net” (my domain) but when submitting the comment, it writes “jasims.net” not my user name and that is Jasim.
But other blogs at WP when writing their domain name it gives them their user name. Any ideas about this?
