Open image in new page???

Hello! Frustratingly, after for years designing my pages so the images will open in a new page, the method of doing so seems to have changed, again. Please tell me how to do it, now, so I can make my new page match the old ones. (https://lbgrigsbybeadwork.wordpress.com/social-climber-squirrel/), Frustratingly, since I can’t upen the image in a new page, I also can’t use that new page’s URL to add a linked image to the sidebar. Help! Leslie

Last year you asked about seeing images at full size and @micawbr replied:-

In the new post editor when you’ve clicked on the image and the “insert/edit” button you also need to tick the box “open link in a new window/tab”.
In the old “wp-admin” editor things haven’t really changed and you can still set new images to “link to attachment page” as you upload them, but depending on your screen size you might have to scroll down on the right to see the dropdown box. For existing images using the wp-admin editor, just highlight the image and then click on the “pencil” icon to make your changes.
