Open link In a new window/tab not working

  When I go into a picture added to my blog and click Open link In a new window/tab it refuses to stick, and does not open a new window/tab.. In fact, it isn’t clickable at all when viewing the site.

  You can accomplish this by using the target attribute with your anchor elements:

  Hi there

  Not sure I understand. Until a couple of weeks ago this worked fine, and there is a tick box to open the link in a new window, shouldn’t it be that simple? It doesn’t work as a feature on the whole site, (fivethingsseenandheard.com.) even though it always worked before. It seems not to work since the whole “new posting experience” came in play…

  The box you are referring to is for text links, not image links, and is not related to the new posting experience.

  As I stated, you can manually achieve this behavior by adding the target attribute to the anchor element that surrounds your image.

  Thanks for the help. In fact if I paste the image link in the display settings, then tick the box it works, too…
