Open links in a new window or not?

  1. I have read mixed reviews for opening links in a new window or not. Is this just a personal choice?

  2. I may want to edit my links to not open in a new window. How would I do this? Would I have to unlink and link again, then making sure the box to open in a new window is not checked off?

  1. They will remain mixed, because a) both approaches have their pros and cons, b) some users prefer new window and some don’t.
  A possible middle ground is new window for links to external webpages, no new window for in-site links.

  2. No, you can simply switch the editor to HTML and delete this from the link codes:
  target="_blank"
