  It seems that I have lost my password, but when I attempt to change the password it takes a long time to get a message to change it, and when I finally do, it doesn’t accept it. I’ve been working on this site for 10 years so I know I have a site, regardless of the message I get.

  Changing a password here at WordPress.com won’t help if your site isn’t hosted here. Didn’t you see the replies to your earlier thread: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/opening-my-wp-edit-page/
