Open Simplenote in Sindhi (سنڌي)

  Hello there,

  Kindly open Simplenote for localization into Sindhi (sd) language.

  Please note that Sindhi localization of WordPress.com is also in progress.

  Hi AamirRaz,

  I checked with the Simplenote dev team and they told me that Sindhi translation won’t be applied unless you can use the mobile OS in that language. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe Sindhi isn’t available for iOS/Android?

  Hello Naoko,

  Sadly, that’s true; Sindhi is not yet supported as a core language in Android (See https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/table/4419860?hl=en).

  Never mind. We’d focus on projects currently open for localization/translation.

  Naoko, it’s going to be possible soon as more and more Sindhi friends are volunteering in localization of opensource web platforms into Sindhi language… more like crowdsourcing by discussing issues and problems through Facebook Groups and profiles.

  I have also invited friends to volunteer for WordPress.com Sindhi, and Sindhi forums have made requests and announcements in this regard. #FingersCrossed
