Open Two Pages with one link
-
Is there a way to have one hyperlinked section of text open two pages when it is clicked on. It could be in another window, but preferably as another tab within the same window?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I believe you may be referring to page jump links.

No, I am taking about a hyperlink that when you click on it, it open two separate pages at once in different windows or tabs.
Example. There is a text “Click Me” that is hyper linked and when it is clicked that window goes to google.com and another window or tab is created and opens yahoo.com. -
No. Links by definition go to one destination. That is the way the web works; if they did what you ask, spammers would abuse it to the nth degree within weeks.
It’s part of the web protocol that each link go to one site and that you be able to see where it goes first.

Oh is that what you meant? I thought you were describing page jump links. Sorry. -
It can be done with javascript, but javascript is not allowed here for security reasons.

This is just me, but I seriously dislike sites that open multiple windows when I click on a link, just like I dislike auto-start music and videos.

If I ever saw a site do that to me I would go apeshit on it in front of every Facebook, LinkedIn, WordPress, Gawker, and Twitter contact I have AT LENGTH. And that’s about 30,000 not counting gawker.
Don’t be that guy.
