  Why does my OpenID is http://michaelsync.wordpress.com/”?
  Why not http://michaelsync.net?

  Ditto.. I tried it out also and it doesnt even work. I keep getting the message “you need to login to wordpress.com”… but I am logged in, i have a feeling it is because my openID is kristin.wordpress.com, which redirects to wiphey.com, so I tried to use wiphey.com as my openID, still no dice.

  WP.com OpenID and domain mapping work fine for me:

  Oops… I’m not sure that it is working. I just tried to leave a comment on Scott Kveton’s blog using my wp.com openid (changingway.org), was invited to log in to wp.com, and the login failed. I then used my claimid.com openid, and it worked fine.

  I didnt know that claimid supported openid. nice tip.
