Opt in box

    Is adding an Opt in Box possible from a third party? ie vertical responce/mail chimp. Will i have to create a sign me up button instead? What are my options

    Hi there, if the signup box consists of either form or JavaScript code, as many do, then you won’t be able to include it on your WordPress.com site. Here is a detailed guide to the types of code that are permitted:

    You can definitely create a graphic that says something like “Sign up for our newsletter” and link it to a signup form which is hosted somewhere else. Some email marketing companies provide a standalone form that you can link to in exactly this way.
