Opt-in field in the heading

Hi –
I really want a header with an opt-in so visitors can fill in their email address so I can build my list. For example: “Fill in your email address and get a free dvd”?If not now, are there any plans to have headers like this in the future?

No there isn’t anything like that that I’m aware of in the works.

To offer a bribe in order to get an email address all you have to do is type the text into a text widget and display it at the top of your sidebar.

If you don’t mind helping one more time…could you go in to http://www.liveyourmessage.com/ and look at what she has done with the opt-in? that’s what I mean. Is that even possible with wordpress.com or would I have to have wordpress.org?
