Opt-out of new visual editor

Hello,
I have both wp.com and self-hosted WordPress sites and I’d like to stick with the old editor for obvious reasons.
Now the option to turn the new visual editor off is gone for a while. When I click “Edit” while viewing a blog post I’m always taken to the Beep-Beep-Boop thing. For whatever reason that became a thing.
Frankly, I’m not too fond of it anyway, but for me it’s not about the functionality, it’s about being used to the OLD editor, and keeping my workflow in line without having to wrap my head around working with two different editors that have a different layout, colors, etc.
Sorry if this has been asked before, but how do I permanently, once and for all, opt out of the new editor on my wp.com hosted blogs?

So there is no way at all to opt out at the moment. A disappointment.
