Opti theme homepage text slider option

Hello,
I am currently using the Opti theme and I was wondering how I could put a text slider at the homepage of my site right under the main menu.
Kinda like a running notification that informs my readers on updates.
Is this possible? I have no knowledge of coding.

Many thanks for that additional information.
It looks like this theme and the site is showing latest posts as the front page. To keep this set up you would need a theme developer to make a child theme and then a template change.
Adding a slider is quite a change to the design, so you may want to consider looking at an alternate theme that either has this built in, or caters for changes such as these.
