Optimising Image Size
-
I have made a huge mistake. I have uploaded images that are far too large.
I need to start again. What size should I make my images?
My camera has a 3:2 Aspect Ratio. Before I upload an image, what size do I need to reduce it to?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you reduce the file size with in the photo editor on your computer you will then be able to upload the photos.
Remember, on a free account, you only have a limited amount of storage for photos. If you need more you can upgrade.
Some people instead of uploading the actual image, use an url link instead. This allows you to not use up your storage.

Thanks, I did see that link.
I know that I can reduce the size before upload, but what size to I reduce it to?
1. 120px x 80px @ 72dpi
2. 480px x 320px @ 72dpi
3. 1200px x 800px @ 72dpiOR something completely different.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have used up 20%. I have 80% remaining.
If I remove all the photos, will it revert back to 100%? -

Yeah, I’m going to remove all the images from my Media File and hopefully it will revert back to 100%.
Then I will upload smaller images. I’m not sure what size the smaller should be at this stage.

I use images between the range-> 70-150 kb.
