Optimizing size for different screens

  Hi!
  my website is http://www.qalileo.az
  So I build my website in the big screen. However, when I enter my website from the smaller screen such as small laptop screen, the slider in the home page does not get optimized. It look so big that I need to scroll down quite a bit. Is there any way to make that slide to get optimized for smaller screen?
