Opting Out of AI Third Party Sharing (to prevent AI Scraping)No Longer Available
-
Hi There,
While some posts asking about opting out of AI Scraping are still on the forum, it is suggested to turn off Third Party Sharing in the Settings. That option- seems to be turned off. If it’s been moved to another setting- how do I do it?
I’m guessing why this has happened, but also just want to see if y’all are letting these posts on the forum, since other opt out discussions have comments closed.

You haven’t shared a link to the site in question.
Is this for a site hosted on WordPress.com? Are you an Admin or Editor of the site? If so, you should find that setting in General>Privacy https://wordpress.com/support/privacy-settings/#prevent-third-party-sharing
Community forum posts are automatically closed after about a month with no replies. Nothing nefarious. :)
In case your site is using the open source WordPress software with other hosting providers (not WordPress.com) then this earlier forum thread might be relevant for you. https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/protecting-user-choice-using-wordpress-and-tumblr-to-train-ai-models/
