opting out of Pinterest?

  Can anyone please tell me how to add the “opt out” code for Pinterest to my page? Either I am hopelessly clueless (likely), or it is not an option as yet. Many thanks for any assistance.

  I have blogged on this. You can’t. WordPress.com is a multiuser blogging platform and we cannot access the metadata and insert the Pinterest opt-out code to prevent our images from being pinned.

  I’m sorry it was bad news. I know many other WordPress.com bloggers who are also unhappy about not being able to prevent their images from being pinned.

  Can I add my small voice here too. I don’t want my images pinned on Pinterest either and it has started to happen and they are now turning up in blogger posts via Pinterest and I really don’t know what we are supposed to do if our lovely hosts at wordpress don’t give us the option to say thanks but no thanks. I hope they do soon. Regards Joanna
