option to display post ‘exceprt’ no longer showing

  Hi, I’m using the block editor on the veni theme (& have done so for many years) – as of a few days ago, the option to display a post ‘excerpt’ disappeared (the first paragraph of the post is shown instead on the blog front page). Can anyone explain / help?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi @katedaviesdesigns, no worries; we’re all fluent in typo here.

  Right now I see you’ve got Content Options > Excerpt under Customize, and it’s displaying that way on your site. Were you able to sort this out?

  Hi @supernovia, thanks so much for replying -yes, thanks, it took me a couple of days to figure out – I think there was just a change in the way the excerpt option was displaying, and its on-screen placement (with new ai generated summarising function). I’m all sorted with it now.
