Option to Exclude Top Page
-
It would be great for the Top Posts and Pages widget, we had an option to exclude top “pages”.
Really, it gets meaningless to show that people will look at a blog’s “about” page. For whatever reasons, this is popular…at least for my blog. But I’m not surprised.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There’s a new widget setting for “visibility” that’s appearing on my test blog widgets but not my main blog’s widgets. So this is is the works and is being tested currently.

Note: Visibility options seem to have appeared on the majority of widgets and there’s a brief note on the Categories Widget

The visibility only applies to whether the widget is visible or not: it does not allow you to edit which parts are visible or not. For example it won’t allow you to eliminate to “pages” from the “top posts and pages widget.”

Oh NERTS! That’s too bad. What useful purpose does an invisible widget settings serve? We can place any inactive widget in Inactive Widgets box already. Why would we place an invisible widget in a sidebar or footer. I don’t get that at all.
