option to get a free wordpress domain not shown

  Hello,
  When I try to create a new site in my existing account, the option to get the free wordpress domain (i.e. site.wordpress.com) is not shown, only paid options (purchase a domain and select a wordpress subscription) except for one with the food.blog domain (wich I do not want since is not related) I just need a .wordpress.com I tried to created from the dashboard (add a new site) but its not working. Please advise how to fix it. Thanks

  That’s a bummer that creating a new site doesn’t seem to be working. Let’s see if we can sort it out.

  First off, have you checked out the instructions for adding additional sites as outlined on the following page? See here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/create-a-blog/#adding-a-new-site-or-blog-to-an-existing-account

  If so, can you provide some more detail on what step of the process is not working for you?
