Option to Hide Blog Title on All Themes

  I use the Cutline theme and love it, but have made my own masthead with the title in it. I know that because I have chosen not to have the title show on the front page, people who subscribe to my RSS feed have a blank title for the feed where my blog title should be. I would love to rectify this, but don’t want to change themes as I like the one I’ve been using.

  I would love it if every theme had the option to hide blog titles, and not just select themes. Is this something the WP team could do, or would it require changes directly from the theme designers?

  Dashboard->Settings-> Remove Blog Title

  I tried this option on my test blog using the cut line theme
  & the blog name disappeared.

  Also by linking your name to your blog it will serve the purposes…
  If you need to ask a support question in the forum then it will make it easier for the volunteers to see what blogging platform your using & will aide them in giving you a more accurate answer to your question.

  I don’t see anything under the general settings that says “remove blog title”. Meh.

  For that reason, I’d never recommend removing the blog title.

  I agree that all themes should have the option to hide the title and I suggest you send that request to support. (You could hide the title with custom CSS but I wouldn’t recommend that you pay $15 just for that.)

  I did find your blog http://abritdifferent.wordpress.com/ but like teck says, it is a whole lot easier on us if you link your user name to it or at the very least, provide a link to the blog in question.

  With my theme (neat!) you can make the blog title invisible. There is a “hide text” button in Design -> Custom Image Header.
