Option to reduce heavyhanded password rules

  Hi there,
  I would very much like to return to my previous password but am unable to do so. I’m willing to take the risk and don’t find these rules helpful or reassuring.

  I disagree with you 100% and I’m happy to use unique and very strong passwords because my sites are never hacked. http://en.support.wordpress.com/selecting-a-strong-password/

  Do be aware that we get bloggers posting here who have sites that have been hacked, because they used easy to guess passwords, and some were so ill-advised that they used the exact same password on their blogs, email accounts and multiple other accounts.

  Users should have the option of creating whatever password they want. If their blog gets hacked, it gets hacked, but truthfully, I can’t see why most blogs would be targeted. Guidelines about passwords are possible without forcing users to adhere to the guidelines.
