option to specify 'wrap text' for all text on pages?
-
I’m not sure if ‘wrap text’ is the exact function I’m looking for, but it’s something along those lines. My problem is that on some of my pages, if the text I enter doesn’t fit on a line the way wordpress will allow, wordpress will automatically and arbitrarily hyphenate the word at the end of the sentence. I don’t like the way this looks…I don’t want any words hyphenated or cut off at the ends of sentences. What can I do to ensure this is always considered when wordpress is finalizing any new text I add and inserting it to appear in the boxes in a certain way?
Thanks

Assuming that you really need help with your site at lynnsnycsupperclub.com and not the above site (which is empty), I’ve tagged this for Staff attention. Please be patient.

Meanwhile I’ve found this earlier Staff reply: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/hyphenating-information-on-pages?replies=2#post-2239348 which may help you.
Let us know if you need any assistance with that.

Hi @yippee1999, the other answer still applies: you would need to override this with CSS. If this is making your page unreadable, please get a screenshot or two and upload them to your media library, then update us here so we can take a look. Thanks!

Thank you and ‘yes’, somewhere along the line I did finally get the info I needed and indeed, I think I had to insert some language into the CSS area indicating that lines of text should never be auto-hyphenated. That fixed it. ;-)
