Options for tables

  What are my best options for importing tables? I have one that needs to be updated each month. The table block is doesn’t allow for merged cells, which I need. My current table is on Excel and I’ve been creating an image to import. I don’t want to import it as a file since each month’s block needs to show the stats for that month. Any options to work smarter and not harder so I can copy the post each month and update just what is needed?
