I suddenly can’t seem to access the square box that tells me who has liked or commented on my articles, or responded to my comments.

Some other bloggers have had trouble with this too. Are you running IE10 on Windows 7? If so try Firefox 21 http://browsehappy.com

Thanks, Timethief for responding. No, not even sure what IE10 is. I have Norton Anti-virus. Do I need then to also try Firefox? Sorry to sound so computer illiterate, but that’s just because I am.

Mines just started doing this too. I haven’t had any problem with this since I’ve been on WordPress. Why is this just starting to be a problem all of a sudden? This just started yesterday for me. Thanks.

I have commented in another topic too. I am having the same problem. So far, it seems it’s not only with people using IE10. I am using IE8 and someone else that’s having the same problem as me is using IE9.
This just started yesterday afternoon after it had been working all morning. -
I have the same problem. Click the orange tab and the message box opens but the download spinner just keeps spinning. Only stated happening this morning. No settings on browser changed. New posts I follow still come through on the reader…but no access to comments.

I love WordPress but hate the inability to get hands on support from them on the odd occasion when something goes wrong. Self help is great but at time we need a faster response from WP.com

me too; using IE10; in UK; started yesterday (11-06-2013) evening; can’t open the notifications page either; also I’ve noticed it won’t load the ‘like’ function on other’s pages I visit although I HAVE noticed I can ‘like’ someone else’s page from my reader; I CAN post comments on others pages …

Still a problem. I don’t want to change browsers – surely WordPress supports IE10? When I signed up, no indication was given that WP doesn’t work with IE. It worked up until yesterday.
It would be good to hear from the tech people on this, so we could get some idea of when the problem will be resolved.

It seems, that like me, you are all saying that this problem reared its ugly head yesterday. There must be one thing that is connecting us all to it. Thanks for responding. I hope someone can help us all resolve our problem soon. I love my comments and likes and am getting withdrawal symptoms. PS. I agree with davidoakesimages. WordPress is a fantastic service that is always evolving for the better except when it comes to hands on help.

Personally I don’t want to change browsers. Can’t WP get it to work with IE10? It did until yesterday…
It would be really good if the tech people could respond and let us know what’s happening.

What’s happening is that they are busy upgrading code and helping blogger with issues. WordPress.com is on continuous roll-out and that means multiple code changes are made in any given day.
If you do not wish to download a browser that will work so you can get your blogging done then you will have to wait patiently for a fix which may or may not happen today.
There is no need to start additional threads about this issue, as we’re aware of the problem. Thanks for your understanding.

The problem has not been fixed for me with the LIKES. If I open someone’s post, the LIKES at the bottom of it are still trying to load. The only thing that seems to be fixed for me is the NOTIFICATIONS are now showing up again. At least one part was fixed–for me anyway.
