  Hope somebody out there in WordPressland can help ! I make and sell home-made preserves and am desperate to put an order form on my site – has anybody done this and how do I go about creating a simple order form (that also has a ‘print’ facility ?

  If you just want a straight-up order form that people fill out and send to you, you can use a contact form which can be used on posts and pages. When people fill it out you receive it as an email which you can then print out. Instructions here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/ Then you can add a paypal button for them to pay you: http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/

  If you have an account on an ecommerce site like etsy or shopify you can add a link from your website to that one so people can order that way.

  Of course, there’s also the business upgrade that will allow you full ecommerce functionality directly on your blog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/ecommerce/

  Ha – not sure it would survive the trip ! I am sure where you live has some great local recipes for preserves !
