Order number posting

  We are a retailer and many customers are emailing regarding there current order status. Some of our comments at the top indicate the customer provided the order number. Not sure where they acually post the order number? Is there a way to make it more noticable to ensure more people provide it? below is an example, the order number is 264572

  It would be nice if you could e-mail or call a customer to let them know that their order was back ordered! It would also be nice if you could let them know for sure, when they’ll have the item in stock! Customer, still waiting!

  First off the site linked to your username isn’t a wordpress.com blog. Secondly wordpress.com blogs are non-commercial.

  Third, by placing someone’s email address in a public forum, you just insured that their email inbox will be flooded with spam.

  If you are using the wordpress software downloaded from wordpress.org, then you need to inquire over at http://wordpress.org/support/

  I found your .com blog and it appears you are using it for contact information and such.

  With the changes you are talking about, perhaps you would be best served by downloading and installing the wordpress software from wordpress.org directly on your web server rather than using wordpress.com.

  WordPress.com is limited in customization to what can be done through CSS, and the changes you are talking about would require changes to the underlying theme files which is not allowed here at wordpress.com.
