Order of appearance of my blog posts.
-
I made a posting this morning, but it didn’t show up in the order I expected on my blog. In the past, all of my postings showed up so the newest is first, and previous posts are below. But today the newest is below my previous post. Did I do something incorrectly?
Is there a way that I can control in which order posts appear?
my blog is http://www.bobby-c-blog.com

Hi there – I’d be glad to investigate this.
Here are the latest two posts and their publication dates/times:
Planning the Ultimate High School Graduation Party – Part 1 of 7 – Initial Planning – published March 29, 14:50
Planning a Great High School Graduation Party – Part 2 of 7 – Planning the Menu – published March 29, 14:26
If you’d like part 2 to be displayed after part 1 instead of before, you could edit the publication time so that it comes later. You can do that by editing the post itself, or using the Quick Edit option, as you see in this screenshot: http://cl.ly/image/0H2Y2A1Q0p3h
Just let me know if you need further help.

Thank you!!!!
I hadn’t even noticed that setting a publication date was an option. I have made the correction.
A related question, if I may. Could I also use that field to publish things in the future? for instance if I knew I was going to be away on a date I wanted something to appear, could I set it there and have it appear at the specified date and time?
Apologies if this is a very basic question. I am still new at all this.
thanks again.

Yes, absolutely! That’s called a “scheduled post” – here are instructions on how to do it:

Just let me know if you need help with anything else.
