  I want to put a specific blog to appear first every time – how do I do that?

  Sounds like you need to make a “Sticky” post:

  You have the ability to set a Post as a Sticky Post on your front blog page. A sticky Post will keep its spot at the top of your blog until you change its designation. Read more (and see some helpful screen shots) here:
