Order of links in widgets on sidebar.

  I am using the theme “A Simpler Time.” I’ve been trying to change the order of the widgets and the order of the links in the widget. This is my blog address: http://mainegardenjournal.wordpress.com/
  The only way that I’ve been able to change the order of the links widgets is to number them which looks messy. Within the widgets, I can not figure out how to change the order of the links… They don’t seem to be alphabetical or numerical. Any ideas? Take a look at the Newsletter widget. Help.

  Hi there,

  In your Links widget, you can sort them by title, rating, ID, or random:

  The ID would be the unique ID for each link, which you can view if you go to “View All Links” in your Dashboard and hover over a link:

  http://cl.ly/image/0D3A0k322S3J

  The ID should be sequential based on the order you created the link.

  If those options aren’t sufficient for you to manage your links, you might instead try adding links as HTML links in a Text Widget. To do so, you would open a new Text widget and use the following code (using one of your current links as an example):
