Order of posts

Hi, how do you change order of posts so that the OLDEST post is always on top and others below it? (reverse order) It seems like the curretn post always goes to top of list visible

Blogs are essentially a reverse chronological order publishing tool and you cannot change this order on a free hosted WordPress.com blog. Posts will be posted to your blog in accord with their date stamps at publication. WordPress by default shows posts in reverse chronological order (newest post on top). For returning visitors, this is very convenient since they can see the latest post without having to page down through page after page of hundreds of posts they have already read.
If you wish you can set an introductory sticky post to display at the top of the front page ie. the main page for posts.

You can use a URL that will sort your archived posts in ascending order by year. This would allow you the opportunity to offer the ascending order for each year as a custom menu option. You could name each menu item using the year, or if you wished you could use Part 1, Part 2, etc. Each of your custom menu ascending ordered years would have a URL like this one but with a different year:
http://yoursite.wordpress.com/2012/?orderby=date&order=ASCThere are several ramifications to this but it might be something you want to explore. Experiment with the URL and see if the results work with the theme you are using. Be sure to check the load more posts to make sure it continues in ASC order through the whole year. It worked for me in my test.
