Order of Posts

I just started my blog today and I want the blog to read in chronological order. Meaning the very first entry I made should be on top. And if I come back tomorrow and add more, it should be under it. Mine is in the exact opposite order, where the newest post is on top. I know that sounds logical, but I would rather it be the other way around. Is there any way I can change this? Thanks in advance.

Please paste the exact URL of your blog when asking questions here – or link your nickname to your blog as explained in the Sticky 8 Things to Know. We usually need that to give a relevant answer.

No you cannot display posts in chronological order. The only thing you can do is set a static front page and write links to your posts in that order.

    hofojunkie,

Best form in these forums is to provide a link to your blog starting with http:// so we can see that you indeed have a wordpress.com blog—we get lots who are not, and as a result answers may not apply. Check out the stickies at the top of the forums, and please, please, link your name to your blog. #2 on the link below:

I’m just bored right now and figured out your blog is http://hofojunkie.wordpress.com/ . Lots of us volunteers are not killing time, so at the least, provide a link when you ask a question…

Blogs are usually done with the most recent post on top, and the oldest last. Most blogs have posts about current topical information and it would be a hardship for readers to have to scroll down to the bottom of a couple hundred posts to see the latest one.
You are trying to write a different sort of blog, more like a story that can be read from page 1 to page 10, or 100, or however many. Perhaps this will help?

    Hey panos~~~
again with the bad habit of slow typing and forgetting the good habbit of checking if the question is already answered. At least it did not waste anything but virtual ink.
