order of posts

  Hello, I am just getting started (again) with wordpress. Once I figure one problem out I manage to get another. I’m getting frustrated here. Also, I have looked and looked and looked for an answer to my latest problem thru the forum, can not seem to find the answer.
  Here’s the problem now:

  Five posts are “stuck” at the top. I have checked to see if the “sticky” is unchecked and the sticky IS unchecked. There is not a check mark in the sticky box. Now what? This is getting frustrating. I’m sure it’s something pretty simple to figure out but I can’t find it. :(

  Just thought of something.
  I updated the UTC time in between these posts. Could that be it? Should I wait until tomorrow to see if things are posting correctly?

  Yes, you hit on it. The time change would certainly mess up post order if you do it after some posts have already been made.
