Order Status On hold to processing

1. I integrated with shipping currier, whenever customer make the purchase status order will change to processing , The currier will pickup the product.
2. I have physical product and virtual product, when I setup the product downloadable, the status not change into processing but it change to on hold status.
3. It only happen, when customer using Cash On Delivery payment method.
4. How to change from On hold order status to processing, so the currier can pick up the product
