Ordered List Displaying Weird In Dynamic News Theme
-
While trying to create an ordered list post the number in the ordered list appears above the list item and it looks weird. I want to get the number on the same line as my list item but cannot seem to get it to work. Is this a default for my theme? I have tried setting the list item display to inline-block but all that does is make the number disappear. What am I missing?
The page I’m testing on is a page I have not published yet so I’m doing all my css testing while viewing the page in preview mode.

Hi,
In a test site, I was able to create an ordered list that displayed normally in a preview of the Dynamic News theme. This result tends to add support to my initial conjecture that the result you obtained may have been due to an error in creating the ordered list, or perhaps some undetected formatting error.
Can you provide here the HTML code of the list, or a brief yet comparable list?
The HTML Troubleshooting support page may be helpful in detecting formatting errors should any be present that might result in the issue you describe.

I’m following up on the Modlook tag that was here. Thanks for the testing, doc, much appreciated.
nwabearsfan – can you point me to the page or post where you attempted the list?

Hey guys. Thank you so much for looking into this. I figured out that my issue was having the text within my “li” as a <h2>. I removed the header element and it is now appearing the way I want.
