Ordering of items in the RSS feeds widget

  Hello!

  I have set up an rss feed from a series of google alerts using yahoo pipes. The pipe collates 3 google alerts, checks that there are no repeated items in the search results, sorts the whole feed by date (newest first) then pops out a beautiful feed. I have set up a link to this feed successfully using the widget but noticed that the posts are sorted by feed input (ie the individual google alert return terms) than newest to oldest.

  Hi Mel. So you’re saying that the order in Yahoo Pipes is different from the order in WordPress.com?
