Ordering posts is very difficult and consuming time. Simplify, please.

I try to make a web book here https://natal25desember.wordpress.com/tanya-jawab-natal-25-desember/

Problem: It is very difficult and time consuming to order more than 400 posts by changing their time stamps one by one.

Challenge: Please provide simple, easy, and fast way (for example, drag-and-drop method) to order posts manually.

Idea: Each post has unique Order_Post_ID. Without changing Post_ID and with only changing Order_Post_ID by dragging and dropping, bloggers do not need to change original time stamp.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You may already know this, but are you using the WP Admin interface? Changing the date stamp there is slightly faster than the My Sites interface.

Click on WP Admin to open a new tab/window with the old-style dashboard.
Click on posts to list all your posts.
Hover over the one you want to change and click on “Quick Edit.”
You can change the date stamp there.

Still time-consuming but is quicker than opening the posts individually to edit them. And 400 times over will be a lot faster than 400 times of opening individual posts.

But I agree, not as quick or easy as if there were drag and drop.

I assume it’s because WP originated as blogging software so posts would always be in date order without the need to re-order. But now so many of us use it as a CMS, re-ordering would be useful.
