Ordering the photos in a slideshow

  While I like the slideshow feature, why does it not follow the rules for ordering of the gallery? Is there a way to edit that? It automatically orders them from 1st uploaded to last uploaded, but I have my gallery on the same page set to order the other way (newest to oldest).
