Organic Themes Stax: Header is only ‘adaptive’ on one page
-
I purchased the Organic Themes Stax theme and so far It’s really helped me. I am having one issue that is really cramping my style. I really like the transparent ‘adaptive’ header they advertise. Upload two logos versions and it goes from transparent when over media, to opaque/colored when you scroll down. It works on my homepage draft, but not on any of my other pages.
At first I had trouble getting the media underneath the header to make it transparent as described on their theme discription. Then I changed the template from ‘pages’ to ‘blank canvas’ to make the photos/media at top of the page move so it is below the header, but the header is still not being transparent. It only works on my homepage draft. Can you please help me without me having to manually alter the code of each page or template? Thanks!

Hey there,
Thanks for reaching out.
It looks like you’re using a custom theme – so our support here is limited somewhat. I’ve taken a look at the Home Draft and I can see the effect you’re looking to achieve.
Were you provided with any CSS or code from the developers to make this happen? I’m wondering if there’s something that’s being applied to this page, where as it can be applied site wide.
Many thanks in advance.

Hey!
I’m not intentionally using a custom theme. I dropped in the Stax theme and haven’t done much to customize it. If I did anything to alter the effect that came with the header it wasn’t intentional. The ‘adaptable’ header was a function that came with the theme and is one of their big selling points. Yesterday I changed the pages I wanted the effect to work on from a ‘pages’ template to a ‘blank canvas’ template and now the header is also working properly on the page called “Learn About the Wild Coast Team/About Us”! So by changing the template to the same template as the draft home page, it is working on 2 of 4 pages… Thanks!

Wahoo, glad you’ve got it, @wildcoastexcursions! And thanks for sharing the fix! Did you want to apply the same template to the other pages?
You can also try contacting their support directly, as I’d imagine other users have had this question.

Hey sorry, no it’s still a problem. I changed the template on 3 pages, but it only fixed the header issue in one. The background problem is still not fixed. Any suggestions?

Hey there,
Ah that’s a shame! We’re so close!
I’d recommend cross checking the pages where it does work, against those whereby it doesn’t work. It sounds like there could be a setting that needs ticking or a page may need assigning to a template.
I hope this helps so far!
