Organising content on wordpress

    Hi,

    I have been trying to create thumbnail size contained content like the one used on the delicious magazine template. http://deliciousmagazinedemo.wordpress.com/

    The section called “spotlight” has 3 small sections containing image and text. I have already purchased another template which had this feature before I purchased it but for some reason I don’t know how to do it.

    I am trying to implement this on a page, but because code and what not need to be entered it has become to much for me.
    can someone please tell me if there is a widget,shortcode, or some specific that will help me be able to organise content in this format.

    Being that this is my first post, I may not have explained it in a way that you are used to so please let me know if you did not understand. Any help towards the right direction will be most appreciated.
