Organizing Page Titles

    I am trying to put my pages in order on my weblog. How can I move them around in whichever order I like, without having to change the page names?

    I am trying to make my page names HOME, BIO and COVER LETTER hierarchies with a line (a header) underneath them.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    There is an “Attributes” box on every static page that contains “Order” and there you can assign numbers to pages so they appear in the order you wish. See here please >

    If what you really want is a blog that has been restructured to become a website please see here. > http://en.support.wordpress.com/using-wordpress-to-create-a-website/ and here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

    Also note that you do not require a CSS upgrade to do either of the things I suggested above.

    Yes, I tried it, though the page I want to be first goes to end of the menu, as well as the rest no matter what number I place in the Order box. I don’t know why though. I am sure to figure it out soon enough.

    Thanks for the advice

    Statis Pages will always display in alphabetical order in the horizontal menu unless (1) we change that order by assigning numbers in the Order section of the Attributes module. (2) we create a custom menu and arrange them in another order.

    I finally figured out how to place my pages in whatever order I like.

    The first three pages should be in hierarchy and in a separate menu above the portfolio menu. However, my theme will only take one menu, not two.

    If you would like to have better control over what order your pages show on your blog then you will need to use the Menu editor

    P.s. I linked to the portion of the document that explains how to rearrange your page tabs…

    What if I were to make the first three pages titles larger in size for hierarchy at the very top, and divided from the other titles by using a header?

    I am not talking sub-title menu tabs that appear by dragging the mouse.

    What I am trying to do is make larger sizes out of the first three titles. The smaller titles are set underneath the header.

    How can I make important page titles more dominant (e.g size, boldness, typeface)?

    I would like to place a header between the top three pages and the smaller titles underneath.

    @yiso
    I wnat to apoligize to you. When I first posted to this thread I thought I had a qick answer that would reslove your issue. Today I read this thread and see we went off track. You wnat to make static page title larger and that’s done via CSS editing. There are only two Volunteers who provide help with CSS. They are halluke and thesacredpath and they will help you as soon as they locate this thread.

    @yisbo, to have complete control over the order of your page titles in the top navigation, use the custom menu feature. You can then drag and drop the pages into the exact order you want them. It will give you maximum control over order and also allow you to have dropdowns as well.

    I’m not exactly sure what you are asking for your top menu configuration. Could you perhaps explain again, or do you have a link to an example you have found somewhere?

    The menu at the top.

    I’d like the titles, Home, Bio and coverletter in bigger size. There is a line header beneath them, like under Savleene. The rest of the titles stay in order and size beneath that line.

    Something like this:

    .menu-item-1001, .menu-item-1002, .menu-item-1000 {font-size:1.3em;}
    .menu-item-990 {clear:both;}
