Organizing Pages

I’m very new to this, so please bear with me.

I want to create a page for pictures. I would then like to be able to have sub-sections for different activities (EX: Summer 2005, Vacation 2006, etc). I can’t figure out how to do this.

I created a page for Pictures. I attempted to creat sub-pages for each activity. However, when I click on the Pictures page none of the sub-pages show up.

I appreciate any advice or help. If there’s a better way to do this I’m open to it. Thanks.

Well to create a Page, it’s Dashabord -> Write -> Write Page.

If you want to create a “subsection”, just create another Page. This time, though, assign it a Page Parent along the right hand side of the “Write Page” page.

It looks like you’re making Posts when I view your blog. Pages and Posts are two seperate things with WordPress. Please note the captial letters. :)

    Hope this helps,

Just a suggestion: if you want to organize your posts into categories, you might use tags to do it. Tags can be added on the upper right-hand side while you are writing or editing a post, and are used to group related posts together. You can display your tags (sometimes called categories) on the front page of your blog.

    Happy blogging!
