Organizing portfolio projects chronologically
-
My portfolio items are arranged alphabetically, and I want them to be in reverse chronological order (which, according to what I’m reading, is supposed to be the default). How do I do this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @thismomloves,
I hope you are doing well. Let me assist you with this.
With reference to this document , Portfolio projects are ordered by the date they’re created, with the most recent project displayed first.
When I see this page on your website http://thismomloves.ca/portfolio it displays the project the way you want.
Can you please mention, which page you are facing this issue?
Have you added Portfolio Shortcode for other page? If yes, try using this shortcode –[portfolio order=desc].Please share page link for which you need assistance so that we can give you the right direction.
I am looking forward to your reply.
Thanks! -
Hi there,
It’s the specific portfolio pages (which visitors access through my homepage), such as http://www.thismomloves.ca/print where I am seeing this issue.
Thanks!

Hi @thismomloves,
While checking on your site further, I noticed that your site is not hosted on WordPress.com but a self-hosted WordPress site. See the differences between the two here.
Name Server: dns1.namecheaphosting.com Name Server: dns2.namecheaphosting.comThe details I shared with you was applicable for the WordPress.com sites. I am not sure what kind of plugins used for this page.
For further help related to a self-hosted site, please post your question at the WordPress.org support forum – https://wordpress.org/support/forums/Thanks,
