Organizing Sidebar Categories?

I am using the Digg 3 column theme, and I can’t figure out how to organize my left sidebar categories. Any help will be appreciated! Thank you!

I’d like my Free fiber choice category to be the first in the list under June musings, on the left hand sidebar. I thought I did this once but can’t remember how I found it. Thanks!

Yes, categories are ordered alphabetically, so to change their order you need to add letters or numbers before the actual category names.
Another way is to remove the categories widget and write links to your category pages in a text widget instead. This way you can order them any way you like. Drawback: you’ll have to update the widget manually each time you add a new category.
If you’re interested in doing that, you must code the links as an unordered list – see here:

Punctuation and spaces (and perhaps html names, codes like ☆) before the title will also affect the order of categories and links. Works for 1 or 2 items, if you don’t mind the small oddity.
Just a thought, anyway. :-|
