Organizing travel journals (blogs) for different trips?

    I have one site for a trip in 2013. For our next trip in 2014, how would you proceed; new site, or same site?

    I’d use the same site. Just give all the posts from your first trip a category (maybe 2013) and then the posts from the 2nd trip a different category(2014). Here’s how categories work: http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/

    Then you have the option later of creating category menu items so your readers can read about one trip at a time. http://en.support.wordpress.com/category-pages/

    Note: There is also a more advanced way to to display your category pages so that they appear in chronological order, which might be better for a travel log. It’s a little difficult to explain though, so if you follow the steps above to create the “regular” categories page then come back here and request help on flipping the order I can give you more specific instructions from there.
