Organizing your pages.

I am going to try and communicate this as best as possible. I want to organize my pages by topics. (Bios, Helpful Hints, etc) BUT when I go to add a new page it just goes under Bios. When I add the ‘Pages’ widget again it just adds another pages of bios like I have listed already. Is there a way I can seperate which pages go where? If so, how? I would like to make it to wear I can have helpful hints and have maybe 5 other pages under it. Like this:

    _Biographies_
    Aniká
    Dexxler
    Invidia
    Kayto
    Machettie
    The RL Player

    _Helpful Hints_
    Alt Management
    Northrend Daily Routine
    Leveling Professions

    thank you!

    Invidia

Please paste the exact URL of your blog when asking questions here, or link your nickname to your blog (as explained in the Sticky 8 Things to Know Before Posting). We usually need that to give a relevant answer.

As you’ve found out, the pages widget will give you a list of all your pages, so there’s no point in adding it more than once. Its title should refer to all the pages, what you’re thinking of as “topics” should be actual (parent) pages, and what what you’re thinking of as pages should be child pages.

Once you set things this way, you’ll probably have to write links to the proper child pages in each parent page.

If you don’t like the parent-child solution, you must remove the pages widget and add a text widget instead, in which you’ll add links to your pages, with your “topics” as headings. You’ll need coding for unordered lists – see here:
