Origin Theme: Links don't appear in post summary?

  In the following post, the word AnyList is a link, and everything is fine:

  http://anylist.wordpress.com/2012/07/13/hello-world/

  But in the summary of the post that appears here, the word is not a link:

  http://anylist.wordpress.com

  Is this an issue with the Origin theme or a general WordPress issue? How can I change it so the links always show up?

  That’s the same with most themes. You might be able to work around it by using the manual Excerpt box. Click to the HTML editor, copy the code you want to show on the front page (words, tags, everything) and paste it in there. That might get the links to show up.

  No matter what the theme, auto-excerpts display plain text only: all coding is removed, so no links, no images etc. To change that you need to create custom excerpts as per raincoaster’s suggestion. If you’re not seeing the Excerpt module while on the post editor screen, click Screen Options (top right) to enable it.
