  I am concerned because I am converting my WP.com blog marcnaimark.wordpress.com into an archive of pieces I have had published elsewhere online. I worry that this may create an issue on a WP blog. Is there a way to flag this to prevent any problems?

  What sort of an issue are you concerned with? A Google/SEO one? A copyright one?
